Navigating your script

As you start writing your script you'll find yourself navigatating between different scenes. In Yavanika this is made effortless using our handy scene navigation tool. Click on the list icon that hovers on the right side of the editor page. A drawer pops up which shows a list of scene headings and sub-scene headings in the script.

To navigate to a different scene, click on the scene/sub-secene heading from the list and you'll be auto-scrolled to the location.

Zoom in/ Zoom out

Enhance your document viewing experience with our Zoom In and Zoom Out feature. You can adjust the magnification of your documents via the zoom dropdown in View menu. Yavanika also offers convenient keyboard shortcuts for adjusting zoom.

Status Bar

Found at the bottom of the editing page, the status bar is your go-to for essential updates on your work. Here's what you can find on the status bar:

Last Saved

The status bar will inform you once every change to your project is safely stored. Look out for a message on the bottom left corner when it was last saved.

Current Scene and Block

This makes it convenient for you to keep track of where you are in your screenplay. The status bar shows the scene and block you are currently working on, helping keep you stay focused and organized.

The display of the current scene and block helps you maintain context as you navigate your script.

Fullscreen mode

Enlarge the editor interface for better focus and an immersive writing experience. To make it the editor full screen go to View -> FullScreen. To exit Fullscreen use the Esc key.

Publishing Your Project

To share your current project with the world, click on File -> Publish

Click on "Generate Unique Link" to create a unique link that you can share publicly. To remove the link, simply click on "Delete Generated Link."
